Every Baby Has Their Favorites

At six months, Chase is growing and learning new things every day! At first, Chase would play with almost anything (even tissue paper!) but now that he’s getting older, he’s developing preferences for certain toys and I love watching him interact with them!

Mamaroo

This baby seat is a godsend (both for babies and their parents)! It mimics the natural rocking motions of parents to help keep your baby calm and lull them to sleep. I would put Chase to relax his mamaRoo which kept him happy and entertained while I could get some cleaning or work done (all while keeping a watchful eye, of course).

dockatot

The DockATot is a great place for your baby to rest, play, and stay in a seated position. Often, we put Chase in his DockATot on the couch with us so he can be close to all the action and be safe at the same time. Chase loves to sit up and play with his toys while using the DockATot. He’s at a very inquisitive age, so he loves sitting and tracking our movements (as well as the dogs).

baby SHUSHER

In all honesty, I probably love this product just as much as Chase does! From the time Chase was born, we would use a light “shush” sound to calm him until he fell asleep. Any parent knows that sometimes, it isn’t easy to get your baby to STAY asleep. If Chase was fussy during a nap or his bedtime, we just switch on the shusher and it instantly soothed him. It’s also great because it meant we could leave the room to do other things and the shusher would still be working its magic!

Monkey teether

Now that Chase is getting his baby teeth in, he’s been teething on and off. He usually only expresses discomfort for a few days while his new tooth pushes through his gum line. He likes it best when it’s fresh out of the freezer because the cold helps to soothe his sore gums. He also loves chewing on the monkey’s head because of the little textured bumps on the back which massage his gums to help with pain.
